Sharing on Social Media

You may share images of artworks on social media only if all of the following conditions are met:

  • Any visible signature or watermark remains intact
  • The artwork is not altered, filtered, or cropped in a way that misrepresents the original
  • Tagging or linking back is not required, but is greatly appreciated.

You may display artwork on non-commercial websites only if all of the following conditions are met:

Prohibited For-Profit Uses

  • Promotion of films, television, books, podcasts, games, music, apps, live streams, websites, or brands
  • Any use intended to generate revenue, traffic, or brand association


Artificial Intelligence (AI) Use

Artwork may not be used in whole or in part for:

  • Training AI models
  • Generating derivative AI images
  • Seed images, datasets, or reference material for AI systems
  • NoAI and related directives are present on this website to reinforce this prohibition.


NFTs & Blockchain Use

Artwork may not be used for:

  • NFT creation or minting
  • Blockchain-based ownership claims
  • Buying, selling, or listing artwork as NFTs

Joseph Zhou does not mint NFTs and does not authorize NFTs.

Any NFT using Joseph Zhou’s artwork or name is unauthorized and infringes copyright.


Print Use

Artwork may not be reproduced in digital or physical print for any purpose without explicit written permission.


Tattoos

Artwork may not be used for tattooing or tattoo reference without explicit written permission.


Licensing

Licensing may be available for select artworks for approved commercial uses.

Strictly Forbidden Practices

The following actions are strictly prohibited:

  • Removing or obscuring signatures or watermarks
  • Claiming authorship or ownership of the artwork
  • Using artwork for character sheets or reference sheets
  • Altering artwork with text, filters, overlays, or edits
  • Including artwork in collages or composite works without permission
  • Uploading artwork to stock sites or third-party art platforms
  • Uploading artwork to AI datasets or generators
  • Minting or associating artwork with NFTs
